Dr. Jordan Boland, CEO
I grew up in Chautauqua County in the small town of Sherman, NY. I attended St. Bonaventure University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics in 2018. During my time at St. Bonaventure, I interned here at Family Dental Wellness for nearly 3 years. It was in those years that really solidified dentistry as being the right career for me. After Bonaventure, I then went straight on to the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where I graduated in 2022.
Following my training in dental school, I went on to complete a residency program in general dentistry at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Being a hospital-based program, I had the opportunity to collaborate with several other physicians, helping broaden my knowledge of medicine beyond just dentistry. During that time, I treated medically complex patients in all aspects of general dentistry along with gaining vast experience in dental traumas and emergencies. Once I completed my residency, I decided it was time to finally come back home.
I’m a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Developmental Medicine & Dentistry, and the Chicago Dental Society. Outside of work I enjoy cooking, being outdoors, and spending time with my friends, family, and my cat, Simba.
Along with the core values here at Family Dental Wellness, I strive to make the connection between one’s overall health and dental health, wanting nothing more than to educate my patients on this invaluable reality.
Clinical Team
Dr. Bernard Schneider, DDS
Dr. Schneider was born and raised in the Western New York area and is a graduate of Niagara University. Prior to attending dental school, Dr. Schneider completed graduate research work in Oncology at Roswell Park Memorial Hospital. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in Cleveland, Ohio in 1990. Immediately following dental school Dr. Schneider was employed with the Geneva B. Scruggs Community Health Care Center at ECMC. Dr. Schneider is a CEREC specialist and has been using CEREC computerized cad-cam technology since 2002.
Dr. Schneider was the first dentist in the Olean Allegany area to offer this advanced technique to his patients. With 10 years of experience and thousands of restorations, Dr. Schneider has been able to provide advanced care with this one visit procedure. Dr. Schneider is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
He is also a member of the New York State Dental Association, the Cattaraugus County Dental Association and the 8th District Dental Society. He is also a member of The Academy of Computerized Dentistry of North America with his international training as a CEREC specialist. Dr. Schneider has continued with the advances permitted by computerized dentistry and CEREC technology. He provides cosmetic applications including ceramic veneers and ZOOM whitening as well as tissue contouring, utilizing advanced laser technology.
Rob, RDH – Hygienist
I grew up in Bradford, PA and went to Bradford Area High School. After graduation, I attended The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, and Erie Community College where I earned an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2004. I joined the Family Dental Wellness Team in the spring of 2013, but have been working in the dental field for over 20 years! I love working with all age groups and enjoy getting to know each and every patient. It is a goal of mine to make sure everyone that sits down in my chair is comfortable and at ease & understands the connection between oral and systemic health! I still live in Bradford, PA and when I’m not working I enjoy being outside during the summer swimming, and working on my house. I always enjoy time spent with my friends & family.
Nicole "Nicky", RDH- Hygienist
Born and raised in Olean, NY I am a graduate of Olean High School. I spent a brief period of time in North Carolina where I first began gaining experience in the dental field as a dental assistant. After returning to the area I worked for a local practice as a dental assistant. I ultimately left the practice to join my family in developing a local business. During this time, I returned to school, attending SUNY Jamestown Community College. Upon completion, I pursued my dream of becoming a Dental Hygienist and was accepted into the Dental Hygiene program at SUNY Erie Community College where I earned an Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene. In the spring of 2017 I graduated with honors, and am a proud member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Since then I have been practicing in the Twin Tiers Region. I have been fortunate to work with some amazing people who have helped me develop and hone my skills as a Dental Hygienist.
Reba, DA
I grew up in Bradford, PA and moved to Olean in 2008. I went to dental assisting school at BOCES here in Olean, graduated in 2014, and have been assisting for 7 years now. In my free time I enjoy the outdoors and any activities with my children. I have many hobbies but my favorite is flipping old furniture.
Brittany – Dental Assistant
I I grew up in the Ellicottville/Great Valley area. I have lived in Olean for the last 10 years. I completed the Dental Assisting program at BOCES here in Olean 6 years ago and have been assisting in Cattaraugus County in that time.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and pets, going to the movies, and reading.
Joan - Hygienist
I was born and raised in Olean, NY where I graduated from Olean High School. I began my dental career in 2002 when I started working as a dental assistant. In a few years, I knew that I loved my job & wanted to expand my education & I applied to dental hygiene school. In 2006, I was accepted to Monroe Community College Dental Hygiene Program. I graduated in 2008 with an Associates in Dental Hygiene.
My daily goal is to build relationships with the patients while educating them about oral health. I want to make a positive impact on their lives through preventative care.
In my spare time, I enjoy taking long walks, going for bike rides and spending quality time with my family. I have one daughter & currently live in Olean.
I joined Family Dental Wellness in 2023. I am fortunate for opportunities for continuing education and staying updated on the latest dental technology & techniques. I truly appreciate the collaborative and supportive team environment that I am surrounded by every day. I am proud to be a part of a team who always makes patient quality care satisfaction our first priority.
Stephanie - Dental Assistant
I grew up in Bradford, PA and attended Bradford Area High School. I started pursuing dental assisting at Concorde Career College in Kansas City, MI. As a military spouse, I have had the opportunity to live in several parts of the world, Guam being my favorite. After several years, we decided to return home and I am now continuing my passion in the dental field here at Family Dental Wellness.
In my spare time, I enjoy riding ATVs with my husband and children, camping and any other outdoor activities.

Kelly - Treatment Coordinator
I am a native to this area and enjoy raising my children here in Western New York. I worked in the medical field for 2 years prior and decided I wanted to try something new. I started here at Family Dental Wellness in April 2016 & I absolutely love being a part of Dr. Schneider’s team. I find that it is very rewarding when we help make our patients feel comfortable with their own smile. I also enjoy learning new information that will help me better assist our patients. During my free time I enjoy watching my children play sports, reading, walking, and spending quality time with my family.
Sarah - Appointment Coordinator
My name is Sarah, I was born and raised in Olean where I graduated from OHS in 2010. After high school, I wasn’t sure what direction I wanted to go career wise so I enrolled at JCC and discovered my passion for office administration & computer technology. There, I received my Associate’s degree in Office Technology and graduated in 2013. I joined the Family Dental Wellness team in 2020 and have been able use the skills I learned in school to help the front desk run smoothly and make every patient’s visit a pleasant, positive experience.
I enjoy spending time with my family & dogs, reading, going to the movies, and seeing Broadway shows.
Shannon - Appointment Coordinator
I grew up in Cuba, graduated in 1989 from Cuba Central School with a Cosmetology license from Votech trade school. I worked in my family owned salon until moving to Allegany to raise our children in 1994. I then decided to switch to a new career in Dental Assisting. After attending dental assisting training in 1996, I started my assisting career in a private general dental practice where after 3 years of assisting, I then became office manager for the next 10 years. I then ventured into specialty offices including orthodontist, oral surgery, and then dental clinics. In 2024, I had the opportunity to proudly join the Family Dental Wellness family as the front desk receptionist. My past dental experience is helpful with assisting our current and new patients when scheduling appointments and answering their questions to make their scheduling and check in experience a positive one.
In my spare time I work at my own business as an auto detailer and assist my business partner with window tinting. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my family and my 3 precious grandchildren.
